Embodiment work is a gentle, experiential approach that helps you develop a deeper awareness of the relationship between your thoughts, emotions, nervous system and body.
Rather than trying to fix or get rid of difficult feelings or symptoms, we create space to slow down, listen and respond with curiosity and compassion. This often reduces pressure on the nervous system, allowing it to move towards greater regulation and resilience. As we slow down together, you may begin to notice patterns that have been operating outside of awareness, along with emotions or protective responses that are ready to be acknowledged and integrated.
Every session is guided by your needs, your energy levels and your pace.
We usually begin by checking in with how you are feeling and what you would like to focus on. You may come with something specific, such as navigating pacing, a relationship challenge, or the stress of living with chronic illness. Or you may simply wish to explore what your body is holding in that moment and allow the session to unfold from there.
Together, we will gently explore your experience. I may invite you to notice body sensations, emotions, thoughts, memories, images or impulses that arise as you stay present with yourself. Throughout the process, I’ll offer guidance, reflections and gentle questions to support your exploration without it becoming overwhelming.
Where helpful, I’ll also share psychoeducation about the nervous system, trauma, pain, fatigue and embodiment to help make sense of your experience. After sessions, I may send notes, practices or short audio or video recordings to support you in integrating what we’ve explored into daily life.
Sessions involve conversation alongside gentle awareness of posture, breath and movement. This isn’t exercise or yoga. You won’t need to change your clothes or do anything physically demanding. Everything is tailored to your body, capacity and accessibility needs.
My work is trauma-informed, collaborative and led by consent. You are always in choice and are welcome to decline or adapt anything I suggest.

The Process
1. Book a free discovery call
Complete the enquiry form below to arrange a free discovery call.
I set aside up to one hour, although many calls are shorter. We will always work with your energy levels on the day.
The discovery call is an opportunity for us to meet, discuss what you’re looking for, answer any questions and, if you’d like, experience a short sample of embodiment work. There is absolutely no pressure to continue afterwards. The purpose is simply to see whether we feel like a good fit.
If I believe another practitioner or therapeutic approach would better support your needs, I’ll always let you know and signpost you where I can.
2. Getting started
If you decide to work with me, I’ll send you a coaching agreement outlining my qualifications, insurance and what you can expect from our work together.
At the beginning of our first session, we’ll also complete a short health questionnaire so I can better understand your health history, accessibility needs, current challenges and hopes for our work together.
3. Ongoing sessions
I usually recommend beginning with four weekly or bi-weekly sessions. This gives us time to build a foundation, develop familiarity with the work and establish practices that you can continue between sessions.
From there, we can review what feels most supportive. There is no fixed commitment—our work together can evolve alongside your needs, energy levels, finances and life circumstances.
